The Company's principal manufacturing operations are conducted in 140,000 square feet under two buildings in South Lee Massachusetts. All of the manufacturing space is climate controlled with a specially designed air filtration system to regularly clean the air.

Slitting and Rewinding

This equipment is used to reduce large "master" rolls into smaller rolls as required for the end use. The Company offers five lines capable of producing rolls up to 72" wide from a variety of materials. One such line, used primarily to service the capacitor industry, is capable of slitting to a width tolerance of +/- .2 mm offering a unique capability for precise, clean slitting of papers, films and nonwovens.

Sheeting

The Company operates four production lines for the cutting of rectangular sheets from rolled goods. Two are automated lines for the efficient cutting of a wide variety of paper products and two lines utilize exclusive and proprietary technology developed at the Company to cut nonwovens efficiently and with minimal waste.

Ultrasonic Bonding

The Company invested in equipment designed to thermally laminate up to five substrates into a finished composite fabric through the use of high frequency vibration. This capability is unique within the nonwovens industry and provides for the construction of high performance materials without the environmental and toxicity issues common to other laminating technologies.
